App4Sales Application Settings Guide

To help you get the most out of App4Sales, we have put together this guide on configuring the settings within the mobile application. Setting up App4Sales correctly improves order entry speed, prevents errors, and matches your daily sales workflow.

The best configuration is simple, clear, and tailored to how your sales team works.

1. Connection & Synchronization Settings

These settings control how data syncs between your device and the back office.

  • Show Synchronization Status: (Recommended: On)

Always keep this visible so your sales reps can easily verify if their stock, pricing, and order data are up to date.

  • Offline Workflow: (Recommended: On for field sales)

Enable this feature if your team frequently works in areas with weak or unstable internet connection. If your team operates strictly from a showroom or office with stable Wi-Fi, keeping standard online mode active is sufficient.

2. Catalog & Product Settings

These settings control product visibility and stock rules during browsing.

  • Show Stock & Stock Amount: (Recommended: On)

Provides real-time visibility into product availability so sales reps can manage customer expectations immediately.

  • Use Package Size Rules: (Recommended: On)

Enforces purchasing in predefined box/package quantities, preventing order errors and reducing manual corrections afterwards.

  • Warn when Ordering Limited Stock: (Recommended: On)

Displays a clear warning when stock is low without completely blocking the order entry process.

  • Show Next Delivery Dates: (Recommended: Optional)

Useful if you frequently deal with backorders or need to inform clients when new stock arrives.

  • Use Simple Filter: (Recommended: On)

Simplifies product filtering for faster catalog navigation.

3. Order Entry Settings

These settings streamline the ordering process.

  • Show Order Totals: (Recommended: On)

Allows reps to review total order amounts before submitting.

  • Default Order Type: (Recommended: Configured)

Set your standard order type as default to save clicks during order creation.

  • Load Prices from Backoffice on Order View: (Recommended: On)

Ensures that centrally managed discounts and specific customer prices are always accurately applied before finalizing the order.

  • Continuous Scanning: (Recommended: For high-volume scanning)

Enable if your reps use barcode scanners to build large orders quickly. Keep disabled for manual order entry.

4. Summary: Which Setup Fits Your Business?

  • Standard Sales Team (Showroom/Office):

Enable Stock Visibility, Package Size Rules, Order Totals, and Central Price Sync.

  • Field Sales Team (On the Road):

Enable Offline Workflow, Stock Visibility, Delivery Dates, and Continuous Scanning (if using scanners).

💡 Tip: Avoid turning on advanced features unless you actively use them in your process. Keeping your settings straightforward keeps the app fast and easy to use.
