How do I change the names of a Matrix?

In the CMS, you can easily customize the Matrix Headers to match your preferred language or naming convention. This setting determines how the matrix axes are displayed on the webshop.

Step-by-Step Guide: Customizing Matrix Headers

Follow these steps to update your matrix headers:

  1. Log in to the CMS.

  2. In the main menu, navigate to Core-Portal Basic > Matrix Headers.

  3. For each individual matrix and language, enter the desired names for:

    • Horizontal axis

    • Vertical axis

  4. Click Save.

⏱ Note: After saving your changes, they will become visible on the Portal4Sales webshop within a few minutes.

Example

Suppose you have a matrix using Volume and Color:

  • Horizontal axis: Enter "Volume" in all the languages active on your webshop (e.g., Volume for English, Kleur for Dutch, Volumen for German).

  • Vertical axis: Enter "Color" in all required languages (e.g., Color for English, Kleur for Dutch, Farbe for German).

The specified terms will then be displayed accordingly on the axes of the consumer matrix in Portal4Sales.
