Apart from being able to control stock from different channels and files, there are certain options from the CMS to determine what stock may be ordered, and what the ordering behavior may be for agents and/or customers. A number of options are explained below.

Stock settings
Go to the stock module in the CMS.
First, it is good to know what order type the item is available for (and how it is sent as a value). This is because then you can determine which stock settings tab applies.

Presale = article is only available for presale
Stock = article is only available for stock
Pre-sale (noos) = item is available for both order types. If you login to this order type, this options tab applies.
Stock (noos) = item is available for both order types. If you login to this order type this options tab applies.

Determining the order type
There are several options for this in the CMS.
- Go to settings, general tab, option "Login order types" for customers, and "Impersonate order types" for agents. These determine from the login process which order type can be ordered for.

- Go to settings, tab other, option "Frontend customer order type".

Infomanager (info button in order matrix)
From the settings, info manager tab in the CMS, you can show which stock is displayed in the info button. This is in combination with the active stock settings 'stock indication' and 'show stock messages'.

Theme colours stock display
You can set different colours from the theme module in the CMS when ordering certain stock. See more information on this below.
