In App4Sales, manually entered discounts may be overwritten by the price check that takes place in the shopping cart. This sometimes causes the entered discount to be overwritten.
To prevent this, activate the ‘Skip manually entered prices when loading customer prices’ setting. This will keep the discount you entered and stop it from being overwritten by the automatic price check (live call).
Click on the order line to manually apply a discount.
Enter a discount percentage or adjust the price.
Note: this is only possible if you have the necessary permissions.
The price is adjusted.
You submit the order but notice that the price changes to the standard customer price without the discount. In this example, that is not what you want!
Click on Settings.
Go to the Order tab.
Enable the 'Skip manually entered prices when loading customer prices' setting.
In the shopping cart, manually enter the discount again.
The price is now no longer automatically adjusted.
