Why is the stock not updated after a new order?

An important part of running an e-commerce shop is keeping track of the stock of your products. When a new order is placed, you want to make sure that the stock of the relevant items is updated to avoid overselling. It is possible to automate this process so that stock is always up-to-date.

In the XLSX connection, it is important that the Change stock after ordering setting is active.

Follow the steps below to activate the setting in the CMS.

1. Log in to the App4Sales CMS.
2. Go to Administration > Settings
3. If the Change stock after ordering setting is disabled, enable it and save the change.
4. Place a new order and check if the stock is automatically updated.
