How to hide an assortment in the Portal?

In some cases, you want to prevent a customer from ordering certain items. This can be useful, for example, if you no longer want to sell a seasonal product or if you no longer offer a brand. It is possible to easily exclude these items from the assortment by unchecking the specific item group in the product groups. Below, we explain how you can do this.

1. Log in to the CMS.
2. Navigate to the product groups via Portal4Sales > Item classes.
3. Find the appropriate main product group and click on it. The sub categories appear at the bottom of the screen.

4. Uncheck the subcategory. This ensures that all articles in this group are no longer visible in the Portal.
5. Save the change and check if the items are no longer visible.
