How to add an extra layer to the lookbook?

A standard lookbook is built according to the schematic structure outlined below.

Lookbook
├── Edition
│ ├── Mood image 1
│ │ ├── Item 1
│ │ ├── Item 2
│ │ └── Item 3
│ └── Mood image 2
│ ├── Item 4
│ ├── Item 5
│ └── Item 6
├── Edition 2

You can also choose to work with multiple layers by using a sub-edition. This adds an additional level to the lookbook.

Lookbook
├── Edition
│ ├── Sub edition
│ │ ├── Mood image 1
│ │ │ ├── Item 1
│ │ │ ├── Item 2
│ │ │ └── Item 3
│ │ └── Mood image 2
│ │ ├── Item 4
│ │ ├── Item 5
│ │ └── Item 6
└── Other layers...

To do this, create the sub-edition as you would with a regular edition. Then, click on the main edition line, click the 'Sub editions' button, and select the edition to be displayed as a sub-edition.

Next, link the desired mood images to the sub-edition.

How can I distinguish between an edition and a mood image?

In the CMS, recognizing the structure can sometimes be challenging. Are you unsure whether you are dealing with an edition or a mood image in the Portal or the app? If you see items after clicking on the image, then you are dealing with a mood image. This is because items can only be linked to a mood image. If you see other images appear after clicking on an image, then you know it is an edition.
