How to change the description of an assortment?

If you want to update the description of an assortment in Portal4Sales or App4Sales without changing it in your ERP system, follow these steps:

1. Open the CMS and go to App4Sales > Item classes or Portal4Sales > Item classes.
2. You’ll see a list of all main assortments. Click on the main assortment and the related subcategories will appear at the bottom of the screen.
3. Click on the main assortment or subcategory whose description you want to modify.
4. On the right side, you will see fields with language codes. You can enter a different description for each language.
5. Save the changes.
6. Refresh the portal and/or the app.

By following these steps, you can easily update the description of an assortment without making changes in your ERP system.

In the example below, the assortment "Brand" will be displayed as "Merk" when the Portal and the app are set to Dutch.
