How to change the color of the stock indicator?

The stock indicator in the catalog shows a visual of an item's stock status.

With the settings 'Max value red stock indicator' and 'Min value green stock indicator,' you can easily decide when the stock indicator turns red, green, or orange in the catalog.

How the stock indicator works

By default, App4Sales shows a green indicator when there is enough stock and the 'Stock indicator in catalog' setting is enabled in the app. If the stock is 0 or below, the indicator turns red. The stock is usually calculated based on the stock formula.

Setting the color using your own preferences

Do you want to control when the stock indicator should be red, green, or orange? You can adjust this by using the settings (CMS > App4Sales > Settings):

- Max value red stock indicator
- Min value green stock indicator

Example

Let’s say you set the following:

- Max value red stock indicator = 5
- Min value green stock indicator = 10

In this case, the stock indicator will work like this:

- If the stock is 10 items or more, the indicator will be green.
- If the stock is 5 items or less, the indicator will be red.
- If the stock is between 6 and 9 items, the indicator will be orange.

⚠ Note: Changing these settings will also affect the stock indicator display in Portal4Sales.
