Tip for registering trade show visitors

Scanning a business card is a quick way to create a new customer in App4Sales. Follow the steps below to easily import customer details by scanning a business card.

1. Open App4Sales, click on ‘Menu’ and select ‘New customer’.
2. The ‘Scan business card’ button can be found in the top right corner.

3. Grant App4Sales access to the camera by clicking ‘Allow’.
4. Click ‘Take a picture' and position the business card in front of the camera.
5. Capture the photo and click ‘Use Photo’ in the bottom right corner.
6. App4Sales will automatically recognise the text on the card and convert it into editable fields.

7. Once the scan is complete, you’ll be able to review the imported information. Check if the details have been correctly captured.
8. Adjust any incorrect or missing data and click ‘Save’.
9. You’ll return to the ‘New Customer’ screen. Here, you can further edit the details or simply click ‘Save’. You can now create an order for the new customer.
