Can articles have different units of measure in Warpspeed and the ERP system?

It is allowed for an article to have a sales unit in Exact Globe (Inventory > Items > Maintain > Basics > Sls. unit) that is different from the base unit of measure in Warpspeed, on condition that the sales unit is linked to the article as an input unit of measure.

Suppose that the article COLA_01 is sold in trays of 24 cans. The base unit of measure could be tray and the input unit of measure can, with 24 as base divisor. The conversion would then be calculated as follows:

Conversely, when the base unit is can and the input unit tray the base numerator would be 24. You can always check whether you entered the correct values by looking at the way the conversion is calculated.

N.B. An article can also have multiple input units of measure, so long as one of them matches the sales unit in Exact Globe.
