Why are there no shipping costs calculated for the order?
It's possible that no shipping costs are being calculated for an order. This can happen if no shipping cost rule has been set up in the CMS for the customer's country. It is important to create a shipping cost rule for each country to ensure that the shipping costs are calculated correctly and added to the order.
Steps to add a shipping rule with the minimum information required:
1. In the CMS, go to Administration > Shipping costs.
2. Click the 'Add new shipping costs' button.
3. Country code: choose the specific country for which you wish to configure shipping costs.
4. Shipping costs: enter the rate.
5. Item Code: associate the item code with the shipping cost (further explanation provided).
6. Minimum no-franco (optional): no shipping costs will be charged for orders above this amount.
7. Products: select the product for which you want to activate shipping costs.
8. Save the changes and repeat these steps for another country.
